The Ford F-150 2004–2008 redefined the truck’s status with a harder, squared-off shape and numerous upgrades in power, strength and utility. The model lineup featured an assortment of engines, ranging from a 4.2L V6 (202 horsepower, 260 lb-ft of torque) to the 5.4L Triton V8, offering 300 horsepower and 365 lb-ft of torque for maximum towing and payload capacity. It featured a totally boxed frame, which dramatically increased durability and comfort.
