A middle ground was the sturdy 3.0L V6 Vulcan, which put out 148 horsepower and 180 lb-ft of torque for people looking for extra muscle without having to break the bank. The most powerful engine was the 4.0L V6 SOHC Cologne, a 207-horsepower/238-lb-ft powertrain designed for towing, trail-riding and heavier payloads.
